This may simply be caused by ink running out, please investigate the ink level of the cartridges installed. If ink levels are fine please run printer head cleaning usually found in the printers service menu

If there is a few blank lines, the possible reason is that paper dust or atmospheric dust has stuck to the printhead. Please consult your printer's user manual on how to run a head cleaning cycle. Poor quality paper can be a major cause of this issue so please ensure the paper used is inkjet printer rated. if the head cleaning cycle does not clear the problem the printhead may need a manual clean
The quality of the graphics printed is set by the printer driver between draft (poor quality but fast) and high quality photo (top quality and slow). Ensure the correct print quality mode has been selected.

if none of the above solutions work then it may be that the print head is not functioning correctly and may need to be replaced. Most ink print heads have a life span of 30-40 sets of cartridges before they need to be replaced. If the print head is captive in the printer then you will need to contact a local service engineer of the OEM for a replacement.
